After many rumors, pictures and everything else seen in the web so far, EVGA has announced today the highly-awaited motherboard based on Intel X58, and the first EVGA motherboard based on an Intel chipset.

The new motherboard will support the new Core i7 processors that Intel will present in the next few days. one of the main features of this new EVGA motherboard is the support for the AMD/ATI CrossFire support and Nvidia’s 3-way SLI.

THe motherboard also features 10 SATA II ports and one e-SATA. For the overclocking lovers, this new EVGA solution has also been given many related technologies, such as the “EVGA VDroop Control”, which stabilizes the CPU voltage, offering more stability also in high frequences. Also, the CPU power supply is based on 100% solid condensers that enhance the stability during extreme overclocks.
