Review: EVGA GeForce 280 SC - Part 13
In a nutshell, this card deserves the best performance award, but it’s recommended only to those who really are able to fully experience its potential, with, for example, a 24″ monitor with 1920×1200 resolution and a high-end configuration. Otherwise, it’s a waste of money, since the card isn’t necessarily cheap.
PRO:
- High level performance
- Possibility of performing other tasks beyond the gaming due to the CUDA technology
- PhysX library support
- Low idle energy consumption
- Very beautiful aestheticallyCONS:
- High temperature when working to its full potential
- High maximum TDB
- Dissipator isn’t completely made of copper
- Very high price.Related posts:
