Review - Gainward GeForce GTX 260 GS GLH - Part 8
Conclusion - Part 1The Gainward GTX 260 GS GLH has given a good impression during the tests, with performances very similar to the GTX285 and going head-to-head with the HD4800 solutions from ATI.
Opening the package, it’s already clear to see the great work from the Gainward staff to enhance the PCB layout with high-quality components and a better power supply system than the reference board, all that to enhance the card’s stability in frequences that go outside the original ones. The cooling system has also presented a great study and engineering behind it and it keeps temperatures at optimal levels, enhancing even more the overclocking capabilities on the card.
All those points allowed Gainward to enhance the base frequencies of 75Mhz more for the core and 200Mhz for the memories.
